Lincoln Park, MI – Fatal Crash on I-75 near Outer Dr Takes Two Lives

Lincoln Park, MI (March 3, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that two people died as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred early Saturday morning in Lincoln Park. The police and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at approximately 4:10 a.m. on March 2.

Police reports indicate that a head-on collision occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 75 near Outer Drive. Authorities arrived at the scene and located a Chevrolet Equinox and a Jeep with significant front-end damage. Authorities immediately secured the roadway to prevent further injuries or damages. A 56-year-old woman involved in the accident was pronounced deceased immediately at the scene. A 21-year-old woman was transported to an area hospital for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that the woman died after arriving. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
