Saginaw, MI – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Gratiot Ave

Saginaw, MI (March 9, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Saginaw area on Friday afternoon ended in injuries. Calls for assistance came in at approximately 1:50 p.m. on March 8.

According to local news sources, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 7900 block of Gratiot Avenue. The police and firefighters responded to the scene and closed off the roadway near the Wendy’s restaurant. Emergency officials out of Thomas Township responded to assist. MMR tended to the victim while at the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where they were provided further medical treatment. The incident is currently being investigated.
