Blackman Twp., MI (March 11, 2024) – Several people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Blackman Township on Friday evening, March 8. At around 10:15 p.m., the police and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident on Lansing Avenue.

According to official reports, a gold Toyota and a silver BMW collided on the roadway at the intersection of VanHorn Road. The Toyota was traveling north at the time of the accident when it collided with the BMW, which was southbound on the road. Three people involved in the accident, identified as a 45-year-old man, a 41-year-old man, and a 41-year-old woman, were all injured. The three victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that one of the victims was admitted in critical condition, while the two other victims suffered serious injuries. Investigations are currently underway.
