Grand Rapids, MI (March 21, 2024) – The Grand Rapids Police Department confirmed that a 55-year-old woman lost her life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred on Sunday, March 17. The accident was reported to law enforcement at around 2:10 a.m.

According to official reports, a woman was struck by a vehicle in the area of 28^th Street and Eastern Avenue Southeast. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the woman with severe injuries. The Grand Rapids Police Department confirmed that the woman was issued lifesaving measures while at the scene. However, she ended up passing away from her injuries.
