Home Twp., MI (March 23, 2024) – A man lost his life as a result of a fatal workplace accident that occurred in Montcalm County. The accident occurred on Thursday, March 21.

At around 8:30 p.m., the Montcalm County Sheriff’s office was called to the scene of a workplace accident that occurred on East Howard City Edmore Road. According to reports, a man was working at a facility in the 1000 block of the roadway when he became pinned between a small excavator and a large boiler. The man, identified as a 22-year-old, was severely hurt in the accident. Despite medical efforts, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
