Park Twp., MI (March 25, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested to provide assistance at the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening in Ottawa County. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of the accident at around 7:35 p.m. on March 23.

According to reports from local news sources, a 25-year-old man from Holland, Michigan, was driving an Audi westbound on Riley Street during the evening hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection of Lakeshore Avenue, it collided with a Subaru, which was traveling southbound on Lakeshore. A 25-year-old female passenger in the Audi became trapped inside the vehicle due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters had to extricate the woman from the vehicle.

The driver and passenger in the Audi were both injured and transported to area hospitals for emergency care. The 59-year-old driver of the Subaru and his 54-year-old female passenger were also in the two victims were transported to area hospitals for further treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
