Traverse City, MI (April 3, 2024) – Just before 2:20 p.m. on April 2, emergency crews were summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Traverse City area and ended in injuries.

According to official reports, a vehicle collision involving two cars occurred on West South Airport Road. The involved vehicles came to rest in the center of the roadway near the Big Lots. At least one vehicle had to be towed from the scene. Airbags did deploy due to the extent of damage suffered by the involved vehicles. Medical personnel rendered aid to the injured victims while on-site. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
