Grand Rapids, MI (April 6, 2024) – The Michigan State Police responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Grand Rapids area on Friday evening, April 5. Calls for assistance came in at around 5:45 p.m.

According to official reports, an automobile accident blocked the intersection of Burton Street and Division Avenue. Emergency officials responded to the scene and closed down the intersection while working to clear the area. At least one person was hurt as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to the victims. The injured parties were then transported to area hospitals for further care. The crash is being investigated.
