Somerset, MI (April 21, 2024) – A car accident in Michigan on Friday sent at least one person to an area hospital with injuries. The collision was reported by the Michigan Department of Transportation at around 11:55 a.m. on April 19.
According to reports, a collision occurred on US Highway 12. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking multiple lanes of the roadway between Waldron Road and South Jackson Road. The Michigan State Police immediately closed down a portion of the roadway to assist. Firefighters responded to help with removing the involved vehicles. EMS crews responded to treat injured victims and transport those who required further medical care to local hospitals.
