Aurelius Twp., MI – Woman Killed in Crash on College Rd at W Columbia Rd

Aurelius Twp., MI (April 23, 2024) – The Ingham County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that a 27-year-old woman died as a result of a fatal car accident in Michigan that occurred on Sunday afternoon, April 21. Authorities were called to the scene at around 2:30 p.m.

Crash reports indicate that two vehicles collided on College Road near West Columbia Road during the afternoon hours. Preliminary reports indicate that a 21-year-old man was driving his vehicle south on College Road when he failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection. As a result, the two vehicles collided. The woman and her three-year-old child were both seriously injured in the crash. The two victims were transported to area hospitals, where the woman passed away from her injuries. The 21-year-old man was treated for minor injuries. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
