Flint, MI (April 24, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in Flint Township claimed one person’s life. The Flint Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around 6:00 p.m. on April 22.

According to official reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Ballenger Highway, 12^th Street. The incident prompted authorities to respond in immediately shut down the road between Miller Road and Van Slyke Avenue. The pedestrian was severely injured as a result of the crash. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased from their injuries. No other injuries were reported. The accident is being investigated at this time.
