Detroit, MI – Two Killed in Car Crash on E Forest Ave

Detroit, MI (November 8, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in the Detroit area claimed the lives of two women. The collision took place at around 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, November 7.

Reports show that a Chrysler 300 and a Ford Fusion collided on East Forest Avenue near Mountain Elliott Street. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway. The driver of the fusion was ejected from her vehicle. One person became trapped inside. The car caught on fire. Both women died from their injuries while at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler, a male, was transported to an area hospital for emergency care. The police department is investigating the crash.
