Flint, MI – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Sunset Dr

Flint, MI (November 27, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist, who was a physician at McLaren Flint Hospital, on Flint's west side Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of Sunset Drive and Brentwood Drive, near the McLaren Flint campus. According to authorities, the 33-year-old motorcyclist from Flint was traveling east on Sunset Drive when his motorcycle collided with an Oldsmobile sedan. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Chief Green confirmed the victim’s age and gender but withheld the individual’s name pending notification of the family. The investigation remains ongoing.
