Detroit, MI (July 21, 2023) - On Friday afternoon, July 21, officers from the Detroit Police Department responded to the intersection of Interstate 75 and Bristol Road after receiving a report of an accident with apparent injuries.

The incident occurred on southbound I-75 at around 4:30 p.m., according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. As a result of the incident, the left lanes were restricted just before Exit 116 for Bristol Road.

Officers from the DPD blocked off the scene and called for medical help, but they haven't released any information on the drivers or their injuries.

The DPD has been tasked with conducting investigations and plans to release further details as they become available.
