Lansing, MI - Fatality, Injuries Occur in Motorcycle Wreck on Cedar St at Denver Ave

Lansing, MI (July 23, 2023) - Following a motorcycle accident on Cedar Street early on Sunday morning, July 23, one individual has died.

According to Lansing police, a motorcycle and a car collided on Cedar Street near Denver Avenue at around 1:05 a.m. local time. Per officers, the motorcycle was operated by a 25-year-old Lansing resident, who passed away at the site.

Two passengers in the vehicle also sustained injuries and received care at a local hospital.

Reportedly, police believe that the incident was caused by speed, but a probe is still being conducted. The investigation is ongoing, and witnesses were asked to come forward.
