Lansing, MI (July 27, 2023) - On Thursday afternoon, July 27, Lansing officers and Ingham County authorities reported a house fire that broke out in a neighborhood between Eaton Rapids and Mason.

Officers and firefighters reported to the site of the incident, located in Aurelius Township on the 1500 block of South Onondaga Road, around 2:00 p.m. EMTs were also dispatched to assess victim injuries, though the total number of victims involved is still unknown. It's also unclear if any persons involved required further care at a local hospital.

The blaze was extinguished by the early evening, though Ingham officials are still working with the Lansing PD and Lansing firefighters to investigate the incident.

Our thoughts and best wishes for a complete recovery go out to any injured victims and their family members.
