Battle Creek, MI (August 2, 2023) - After a vehicle accident with reported injuries occurred on Wednesday, August 2, traffic was diverted from the junction of East Columbia Avenue and Main Street in Battle Creek.
Officers with the Battle Creek Police Department responded to the scene during the early afternoon and requested assistance from local paramedics. Though the total number of victims and injuries involved remains unknown, paramedics were spotted via news footage and appeared to assist at least one person at the scene.
The Battle Creek PD is actively investigating the collision but has not disclosed whether citations or charges will be issued. Officers say the inquiry is still ongoing at this time.
