Flint, MI (August 4, 2023) - Two lanes of westbound I-69 in Genesee County were closed due to an accident at the Irish Road exit.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) received the collision report on Friday, August 4, just before 3:35 p.m. The accident closed the middle lane and the right lane as well as the right shoulder of westbound Interstate 69 near the Irish Road exit.

After police shut down several lanes of traffic, paramedics arrived and tended to the victims. However, no details regarding the drivers or their injuries have been made public.

Flint-area officers have requested that any witnesses come forward and provide information to aid in their investigation.
