Lansing, MI (August 4, 2023) - On Friday evening, August 4, officers with the Lansing Police Department received an accident alert and a complaint of injuries at the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 69.

At around 9:20 p.m., the wreck occurred after mile marker 49 in a construction zone, as reported by the Lansing Police Department and Eaton County authorities. Officials blocked off lanes of traffic and called for backup after receiving reports of an accident involving two vehicles and a handful of people.

Paramedics assessed and treated all patients shortly after the incident, but their present conditions are unclear. Meanwhile, police are still looking into the crash and will release further details as they become available.
