Detroit, MI - I-94 Scene of Injury-Causing Crash at Gratiot Ave

Detroit, MI (August 9, 2023) - An automobile crash on State Route 10 near Detroit on August 9 caused injuries to at least one person

Authorities were sent to the site just north of the Clairmount Road offramp. At 1:45 p.m., officers from the Michigan State Police arrived and started looking into the incident. Police officers responding to the incident in the right lane reported information of a possible second collision in the region of the right shoulder.

The number of fatalities is unclear, despite the fact that emergency medical services were made available to treat the injured. The MSP is in charge of the investigation and has appealed for help from any witnesses who may have information.
