Detroit, MI (August 11, 2023) - On Friday morning, August 11th, the Detroit Police Department was notified of an automobile collision that reportedly ended in injuries.
The incident occurred around 10:40 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-96 near the Beck Road off-ramp, and both the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan Department of Transportation responded. Officials shut down virtually all lanes of traffic to conduct their investigation, and they expect at least two vehicles to be involved.
After the collision, paramedics arrived at the scene to treat the victims involved, but officials didn't say anything further about how they were doing.
The DPD has issued a call for any witnesses who saw what transpired. In the meanwhile, the police investigation is ongoing, and further information will be released when it becomes available.
