Detroit, MI (August 12, 2023) - On Saturday, August 12, the Detroit Police Department responded to a collision involving at least two vehicles on Interstate 75 in the Detroit metropolitan region.
Preliminary DPD reports suggest that the collision, which happened at 12:45 p.m., closed almost all of the right and center lanes on southbound Interstate 75 at 7 Mile Road. According to the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan Department of Transportation, officials proceeded quickly to conduct their on-scene investigation, though specific details regarding the accident's cause were not provided.
