Kentwood, MI (August 14, 2023) - On Monday morning, August 14, a pedestrian was critically injured in a collision in Kentwood, per officers with the local police department.
After reports of a collision involving a pedestrian began coming in just after 6:00 a.m., officers from the Kentwood Police Department were sent to the junction of 54th Street SE and Division Avenue SE.
Police stated the pedestrian was seriously injured and brought to an area hospital.
The cause of the crash is still unknown, and it's unclear if the driver involved stayed at the scene. Witnesses with additional information were asked to contact the Kentwood PD as soon as possible.
