Pitconning, MI - Woman Airlifted After Motorcycle Crash at North & Mable Sts

Pitconning, MI (August 18, 2023) - A medical helicopter transferred a 70-year-old woman from the site of a motorcycle accident in Pitconning after she was seriously hurt on Monday morning.

The incident occurred at around 8:50 a.m. near North Street and Mable Street in Pinconning, according to the police. The woman's severe injuries required immediate medical attention, so she was taken to a local hospital by a FlightCare helicopter.

Although the investigation into the collision is ongoing, police have said that they are unable to determine whether the woman was walking on the sidewalk or crossing the roadway when the motorcyclist struck her. According to reports, the motorcyclist also did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.

The collision remains under investigation by officers with the Pitconning Police Department, and any eyewitnesses in the area at the time of the wreck were asked to contact the police.
