Detroit, MI (August 20, 2023) - Authorities in Detroit said that one person was killed and many others were injured in a vehicle collision early on Saturday morning.
The Detroit Police Department was sent to the corner of Van Dyke Avenue and 21 Mile Road at roughly 3 o'clock in the morning. Over the city's scanner, police in Detroit requested assistance and informed Michigan State Police.
It is unknown how many individuals were harmed, however, emergency medical services were on hand to provide care. Although police have not verified the specifics, witnesses said that one individual was found dead at the site.
The DPD is now conducting an investigation and has requested that any other witnesses get in contact with them.
