Detroit, MI (August 25, 2023) - A semi-truck allegedly T-boned a vehicle on a local highway on Friday morning, August 25, causing injuries to at least one individual, per local police reports.
At about 10:30 a.m., officers were sent to northbound Michigan Highway 53 at Hall Road and discovered that the crash occurred at the Hall entrance ramp. Officials in Detroit blocked off traffic, radioed in for medical assistance, and alerted local dispatchers to call troopers with the Michigan State Police.
Shortly thereafter, paramedics arrived on the site of the collision, though it is unknown how many people were hurt. Any prospective witnesses are urged to contact the DPD so they may continue their investigation.
