Detroit, MI (August 26, 2023) - On Saturday, August 26, the Detroit Police Department was dispatched to the scene of an accident that resulted in injuries and shut down the left lanes of westbound I-94 after Michigan Highway 10.
According to a report from the Michigan Department of Transportation for the Wayne County area, the two-vehicle collision shut down all left lanes. The Detroit Police Department and the Michigan State Police arrived at the scene just before 2:00 p.m. and immediately began an investigation.
The Detroit Police Department also requested emergency medical assistance; however, the exact number of injured individuals is currently unknown.
DPD detectives are conducting their investigation and searching for potential witnesses with additional information. No additional details have been provided in the interim.
