Delhi Township, MI (September 4, 2023) - Holt Road was blocked by a house fire late on Sunday night, September 3, and first responders were on the scene.
A fire forced the closure of Holt Road between Waverly Road and Gilbert Road just after 11:00 p.m., according to officers with the Delhi Township Police Department and local fire officials.
Fire departments from Lansing and Delhi Township responded and extinguished the flames by the early morning. EMTs also reported to the scene, and local news footage showed paramedics assessing the victims for injuries and smoke inhalation.
Though an investigation has been launched and remains ongoing, the cause of the fire is yet unknown.
