Detroit, MI (September 6, 2023) – After a serious collision on Wednesday morning, several right lanes of Interstate 96 were closed in the greater Detroit area.
Livingston County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an accident on eastbound Interstate 96 at Spencer Road at around 9:10 a.m.
Emergency medical treatment was requested by dispatch, though it is unknown how many individuals were hurt as a result of the incident. Officers also did not provide details on the extent of the victims’ injuries.
The cause of the accident has yet to be determined, though deputies and troopers with the Michigan State Police are continuing to investigate the crash at this time.
