Kalamazoo, MI (September 6, 2023) - On Wednesday evening, September 6, a serious auto accident occurred in the greater Kalamazoo area, according to reports from the Michigan Department of Transportation.
MDOT said that troopers from the Michigan State Police responded to the area around 7:45 p.m. and that all eastbound lanes of I-94 were reopened before Sprinkle Road at about 9:00 p.m. EMTs also rushed to the site of the wreck to aid the injured victims, though the total number of people involved is still unknown in the meantime.
Troopers with the MSP say their investigation is active during the interim but added that they are looking for witnesses who were in the area at the time of the accident.
