Eaton Co, MI - Two Hurt, One Arrested in Car Wreck on Saginaw Hwy

Eaton County, MI (September 7, 2023) - On Thursday morning, crews responded to a collision on Saginaw Highway near Interstate 96.

Saginaw Highway's eastbound and westbound lanes were blocked at I-96 at 6:30 a.m. on September 7, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Just before 8:30 a.m., the roads were cleared again.

Officials said that road rage may have been the cause of the collision. Two people were taken to the hospital, and one person was in police custody as of Thursday afternoon.

An investigation is ongoing in the interim.
