Detroit, MI (September 10, 2023) – On Sunday evening, September 10, a passenger vehicle driver and a motorcyclist collided in the Detroit metropolitan area, sending at least one individual to a local hospital.
Macomb County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported that the incident occurred just before 10:00 p.m. near the intersection of Gratiot Avenue and Joy Boulevard.
Witnesses observed a number of paramedics and local police officers at the site of the accident; however, the circumstances and specifics of the events leading up to it remain unknown. The current condition of at least one individual who was evaluated for injuries and transported to a local medical facility is also unclear.
Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, but DUI is suspected to be a contributing factor.
