Detroit, MI (September 20, 2023) - According to an initial accident alert issued by the Detroit Police Department, a multiple-vehicle collision that occurred on Wednesday, September 20, necessitated the involvement of local officers and EMTs.
Additionally, the Michigan State Police reported sending officers and paramedics to the accident site. At approximately 3:40 p.m., the collision occurred in the vicinity of eastbound I-94 and the Woodward Road exit, per early information from the site. However, as of Wednesday evening, no additional information regarding the victims or the accident's surrounding circumstances had been disclosed.
In the interim, authorities in the Detroit area continue to investigate the accident. It was requested that witnesses with additional information come forward.
