Detroit, MI - Injuries Reported in I-275 Collision at Ann Arbor Rd

Detroit, MI (September 22, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a collision involving two or three vehicles on northbound Interstate 275 in the city of Detroit on Friday, September 22.

An accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 275 close to the Ann Arbor Road exit at around 5:00 p.m. Upon arrival, officers from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office found that two or three drivers were involved in the crash. However, they first refused to provide further information on the number of victims and the incident's circumstances.

Emergency medical technicians were sent to the scene to assess the wounded; however, information on the severity of the wounds and the victims' current condition has not been made public.

The collaborative investigation by the Detroit police and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office is still ongoing despite the lack of any fresh information.
