Martin Township, MI (September 23, 2023) - On Friday, September 22nd, a child was fatally injured by a piece of agricultural equipment, prompting an investigation by police.
According to a press release, the Allegan County Sheriff's Office was called to the intersection of 9th Street and 122nd Avenue in Martin Township at 5:50 p.m. on the allegation that a piece of agricultural machinery had injured a child.
The 8-year-old was discovered deceased by police when they arrived.
An investigation is still being conducted by the Allegan County Sheriff's Office, though deputies have asked any witnesses to come forward if they have additional details.
