Kalamazoo, MI (September 24, 2023) - The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office responded to a serious collision on Sunday at noon near the crossroads of Douglas Avenue and West C Avenue in Cooper Township.
When police arrived, they learned that a full-size pickup vehicle had been heading north on Douglas and had tried to make a left turn onto West C Ave. The vehicle turned into the path of a motorcyclist heading south on Douglas Avenue. On-scene medical personnel ruled the motorcyclist dead; the truck driver walked away without injuries.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office and Silent Observer are seeking any witnesses to the accident. In the meantime, deputies are conducting an ongoing investigation.
