Detroit, MI (October 3, 2023) – The intersection of 21 Mile Road and North Avenue was closed on Tuesday, October 3, due to an accident involving at least two vehicles in the Greater Detroit area.
The crash, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon, seems to have involved two to three vehicles and apparently happened after one of the drivers involved ran a red light. The Michigan State Patrol and the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office sent an investigation team to the scene at about 5:00 p.m.
All injured victims were sent to the hospital; however, there is currently no information available on their current statuses.
Local authorities have claimed they are currently investigating the collision but have not released any new information to the public.
