Detroit, MI (October 5, 2023) - On the evening of Thursday, October 5, at least one person was hurt in an accident involving two or three vehicles traveling west on I-275 in Detroit.

At 11:00 p.m., an accident happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 275 near the exit to Michigan Avenue and blocked nearly all lanes. Wayne County Sheriff's Office deputies who responded to the scene found evidence of a collision involving at least two drivers, but investigators haven't determined what caused the crash.

Although emergency medical services were sent to the scene, details about the victims' current conditions and the severity of their injuries remain unknown.

The investigation by the Detroit Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office is ongoing, but no new information has been provided to the public at this time.
