Lansing, MI (October 6, 2023) - A crash caused two semi-trucks to run off the road Thursday, October 4, on eastbound I-69 at U.S. Highway 127 in DeWitt Township.

Troopers with the Michigan State Police said two semi-trucks were involved in a crash Thursday on I-69 at U.S. 127 in DeWitt Township.

According to police, the crash resulted in both semi-trucks running off the roadway. One truck wound up in the grassy median between the eastbound and westbound traffic, while the other ended up in the ditch on the righthand side of the road. EMTs transported at least one of the drivers to the hospital, though their current condition is unknown.

The cause of the accident has yet to be determined, though officers are still investigating.
