Detroit, MI (October 8, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving two drivers at a local intersection in Detroit on the evening of Sunday, October 8.
The accident occurred at about 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of 15 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue. When deputies from the Macomb County Sheriff's Office arrived, they determined that two vehicles were involved in the collision, which was an apparent side-swipe as both drivers entered the intersection. However, authorities have yet to piece together what led to the crash.
Although EMTs were sent to the site to evaluate the wounded, the extent of their injuries and the current status of the victims have not been made public.
Detroit police and the Macomb County Sheriff's Office are continuing their joint investigation but have not provided any additional details at this time.
