Detroit, MI (October 11, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred on a local Detroit highway on Wednesday, October 11.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on westbound I-94 at Harper Road and involved the drivers of two passenger vehicles. The accident scene was closed once deputies from the Macomb County Sheriff's Office arrived. However, authorities did not release specific details about the crash's victims and their conditions.
Although emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those seriously injured to the hospital, it is unknown how severe their injuries or current conditions are.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office and the Detroit Police Department are conducting a joint investigation. Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses.
