Detroit, MI (October 11, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred along a busy highway in Detroit on Wednesday, October 11.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on westbound I-94 after Gratiot Avenue. The accident scene was cordoned off once deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrived. However, authorities did not release specific details about the crash's victims and their conditions.
Although emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those seriously injured to the hospital, it is unknown how severe their injuries or current conditions are.
Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses and continuing to investigate in the meantime.
