Detroit, MI (October 16, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred along a roadway in Detroit on Monday morning, October 16.
The incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on northbound Gratiot Road at Frazho Road. The accident scene was cordoned off once the Macomb County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived, and both directions of the roadway were eventually shut down after a passenger vehicle and semi-truck collided.
Authorities did not release specific details about the crash's victims and their conditions, but emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those seriously injured to the hospital.
Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses and continuing to investigate.
