Detroit, MI (October 17, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred along a roadway in Detroit on Saturday afternoon, October 14.

The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. at Livernois Highway and westbound Warren. The accident scene was cordoned off once the Wayne County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived, and both directions of the roadway were eventually shut down. However, authorities did not release specific details about the crash's victims and their conditions, other than that there were five victims injured.

Although emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those seriously injured to the hospital, it is unknown how severe their injuries or current conditions are.

Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses and continuing to investigate.
