Detroit, MI (October 17, 2023) - A collision on Tuesday morning forced the closure of all lanes of westbound M-96, also known as Michigan Avenue, per local authorities.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, the incident occurred at 10:15 a.m. According to the Detroit Department of Public Safety, no more cars were involved, and no injuries were recorded. After being inspected by officials at the site, pupils were sent to a nearby building for further safety precautions.
Officers from the Detroit Police Department are now investigating the incident, though they have not commented on whether or not tickets will be issued.
