Wayne, MI (November 1, 2023) – On the evening of November 1, the Michigan State Police were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of a crash that occurred in Wayne.
According to local law enforcement, at around 6:20 p.m., a collision blocked the left lane of travel on the southbound side of Southfield Freeway. The incident caused stop-and-go traffic that extended back from Plymouth Road at Exit 10 to Interstate 96 at Exit 11.
Emergency crews remained at the scene extensively while assisting.
Emergency medical services responded to treat injured victims and transport them to local hospitals.
At this time, the crash is being investigated.
