Lowell, MI (November 2, 2023) - According to Michigan State Police, a semi-truck smashed into three vehicles on westbound I-96 at Alden Nash Avenue SE on Wednesday afternoon, causing severe delays in traffic and several victim injuries.

According to the state troopers, a truck slammed into three cars that had stopped for a work zone. No one was seriously wounded, but at least two people were taken to a local hospital.

While clean-up efforts were underway, MSP urged drivers to find an alternative route. An investigation is still ongoing at this time, however, and no further details were released in connection with the incident. Officers are looking into the cause of the wreck in the interim.
