Midland, MI – Auto Wreck Reported at E Indian St & George St

Webberville, MI (November 2, 2023) - After an accident on Wednesday night, westbound I-96 reopened early Thursday morning.

Parts of westbound I-96 at Williamston Road in Webberville were shut down due to the accident at roughly 8:30 p.m. After running off the road following a crash, police say a semi-truck caught fire.

At least four fire engines and two tow trucks were spotted at the scene, along with other emergency vehicles.

First responders also arrived at the site, though it is unclear how severe the victims' injuries were or the current conditions of those involved. Local law enforcement in the Webberville area is continuing their investigation, but no new details have been published as of yet.
