Lansing, MI (November 6, 2023) - On Sunday morning, authorities say that a bus on the 85 line of the Rapid and a car were involved in an accident.
The incident took place at around 1:00 a.m. between the Lodge Drive and Pierce Street junction, close to the Greek houses at Grand Valley State University.
Due to the delay caused by the accident, several passengers waited at the stations for the train, which was shut down for the night. The sheriff's deputies in Ottawa County arrived to help clear the road. At this point, it is unclear whether or not any people inside the vehicles were critically hurt, but at least one person was hospitalized.
An investigation remains active and ongoing in the meantime.
