Lansing, MI (November 7, 2023) - On Monday night, the fire alarm at the Woodbridge Manor Apartments triggered the deployment of many fire trucks and Lansing police vehicles to the property.

One local neighbor reported that they smelled smoke inside their house on Monday night. She made a 911 call, and her husband went to look in the corridor of their apartment building. The corridor was filled with smoke, according to the witnesses. All residents were evacuated, though paramedics assessed two people for minor injuries.

The origin of the blaze is yet unknown, though fire officials are continuing to investigate at this time.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims in hopes of their full recovery.
